Fireflies- Web based Code-driven media

While I was looking through p5's gallery/showcase that they have on their website, this code/animation caught my eye. The minimalistic colors and design is what really drew me to it. I liked the small details that were animated, like the glowing light of the lantern and the twinkling of the stars in the distance. The way you could repel the fireflies was super cute too and added an interactive element to the piece.

The whole gallery was really inspiring though. I really didn't think you could do so much with something seemingly so simple like p5.
