Together in Spirit- Interconnected Fates

I decided to create a flyer/poster with the message "Together in Spirit". Social distancing orders and self-quarantines have been popular topics over the past couple of months. States have shut down businesses and restricted people from leaving their houses for "unnecessary reasons". Most people aren't able to see their family and friends, and it can sometimes be hard, especially when there is no idea when this would come to an end. So, with the message "Together in Spirit", I hoped to show that no one is really alone in this situation. This is all something that we are going through and can relate to each other with. If anything, I would say that we are more connected as a country and as a world now than in other previous years. In the flyer I aimed to show people from all over the world, separated by oceans and seas, still managing to reach each other in one way or another.

We have to work together and stick together in these unfortunate circumstances. Each of the decisions that we make hold a lot of weight in the future of this pandemic. Each time we decide to hang out with friends and other people, whether indoors or in public, we increase the chances of this virus being spread. And with the virus being spread more, more people are effected. Not does this virus effect the person that it infects, it also takes a toll on their families and friends. It is a stressful time, and if we are able to make someone's life easier or less stressful just by staying inside or distanced from each other, I think that's our job to do. We owe it to the people that have no other choice but to go out for a job or other necessities. Although not physically, we are all still connected, no matter where we are in the world.

More generally, I still think it is important to understand that we are all in this world together. We are all playing this game of life and if we can wok together to spread anything; support, love, hope- whatever it may be- it is beneficial for all of us. Just as easily as this virus can be spread and shared with others, so can many other emotions and feelings.
